Who is Gloria Le brocq-Butler
Forgotten Child of the Stolen Generation, I have recently reconnected with my culture/ extended family in Dunghutti Country- Macleay Valley/ Kempsey NSW.
I attribute the joy of my art to the crucible of deprivation and isolation of my younger years.

A personal perspective of what devastation Fires and Floods can have on communities, I have donated several of my paintings to raise funds for communities and wildlife support and intend where able to continue this support.
Here is a lovely story from the Macleay Argus - click here

My art is a dedication to my mother- Eulalie Maude Lebrocq who passed away in 1965, symbolized by the handprint on my art .
Art to me brings empowerment, beauty from nature, light from darkness and spiritual connection to country.
